The second Festival of Homar  in the Hormuz Island

The festival was an opportunity for artists and nature lovers, to be more communication in the field of Environment and Tourism of the country to have an exploration about the relationship between people and their environment and local communities to preserve their environment according to existing capacities

Participants in Homar Festival, according to the capacity of the environment, in addition to benefit from contact with the indigenous people, creating their artworks.

In this festival people were accepted without considering their age restrictions, employment and skills. The main aim of the Homar festival, social interaction with the language of creation in nature, healthy and happy relationship and professional concerns and enjoy the blessings of God and engaging with natural phenomena, due to the ability of the individual and the group.

 

 

Exective Director

 

Razieh Goudarzi was born in 1987 in Khoramabad (is a city in and capital of Lorestan Province, Iran) .She has Bachelor degree in Industrial Economics and master degree in Executive Management. She has started her artistic activities by participating in group exhibitions when she was in her teen years. In the early 2008 she has started her serious activity in the field of contemporary art by taking part in several art festival and exhibitions. Now she is one of the co-founder and director of the ARTA, contemporary art Institute, She manages festivals and exhibitions and training courses at the Institute. As personal activities she is doing artistic project and photography. She, along with her sister, Tara, has been managing recycle art projects with participating junior high school students since 2009 and they do performance art pieces together. Her works has been exhibited locally and internationally such as; Art Festival or Art Exhibition in India, America, Romania, and Iran.

Curators

Tara Goudarzi (Born in 1978) is a visual art educator and environmental artist lives and works in Khoramabad, Iran. She received her B.A. in Painting in 2009. She works with performance, video and installation. She has been participating and collaborating with many artists in more than 24 Environmental Art Festivals since 2006. Tara has worked as an art director in Arta institute since 2014.   She, along with her sister, Razieh, has been managing recycle art projects with participating junior high school students since 2009 and they do performance art pieces together. Her works featured in YATOO calendars and catalogs. Her works has been exhibited locally and internationally such as; Art Festival or Art Exhibition in Singapore, India, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Korea, England, Canada, America, Romania, Mexico, Finland and Iran.
