The international festival of Homar with the performance approach in the nature
Introduction
The Arta Contemporary Art Institute intends to hold the Homar festival for the 4th time in October 2020, at the international level in Lorestan province for 4 days. This festival will be in the field of contemporary arts, in the form of exhibition.
Arta Institute was supposed to hold the Homar Festival in the nature of Lorestan with invites twenty international artists active in the field of performance art and environmental art; and an exhibition had been planned as a side program for this festival; With the onset of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19); Live performance programs were eliminated and the exhibition program will be seriously pursued with the presence of more artists.
Perspective
The great attention of artists to the nature, as an appropriate setting for the artistic artworks, benefiting of divine sources in the nature, benefiting of art as a tool to create sympathy among people with different cultures, helping to develop the culture and art, creating an appropriate setting to produce creative works and helping to art and creative improvement by using skills and experiences of the present artists in the exhibition.
Registration and presentation of created works at the international level and creative rich performance art with light in the nature, for researchers and enthusiasts to history of art at the international level and also trying to improve people and artists' attention to the importance and protection of the environment for the present and future generations and introducing Lorestan province and Khorramabd city as a center of art creation in the nature, performing art with light are the other perspectives of this exhibition.
The festival statement
The fourth Homar festival, with the performance with light, is considered to artists whom select the nature as a setting to perform their art works, and those artists whom benefits of light as a main tool in their performances. It is especially for those artists whom use ''inner perception'' and ''light'' to show their concerns.
Terms and terminology
Homar in the language of Lorestanians means ''plain''. The reason of choosing this name for this festival, is selecting the nature as the main place for doing the artists' artworks.
Light Art is an art which the light is the main tool for to present artist's artworks. In this artistic field, the artists present their works as installation, performance, performance art, video, video art, drawing and graphic … inside or outside the gallery. Those artists whom select light as the main medium of their works, mostly use incandescent lamps, flashlights, projectors, LED lamp, 3D projections, multimedia … for presenting their works. Indeed, using fire and hot coal is seen in most of the works of environmental artists and in the field of performance art artists. Absolutely the light should be present as the main tool for expression.
Performance art, in this field, the feeling and perceptions of artist and part of his/her existence and presence considers are the main mediums, place and time and whatever happens are real and unrepeatable. Direct communication with the audiences and interact them are really important in performance art, but sometimes performer present performance in the special place without the audience existence and present its photos and videos as the performance art documents.
Medium: a work tool, a media and an intermediary. Since the light is not a material the word '' medium'' is used instead for this work tool.
Problem Statement
The Arta Contemporary Art Institute attempts to communicate among the contemporary artists around the world, the culture of collective working, philanthropy and develops morality.
In the 4th Homar festival, by inspired the ancient ceremony,'' Chahar-Shanbe-Souri'', the artists, in the field of performance art and light art, are invited to be attend in the festival and exhibition and to present their artworks with the mediums of Light. For participating in the exhibition of this event, the artists present their works in the field of light art, in any places which they would prefer, and send that as photos or videos.
For the present artists in the festival, some places are selected in the Lorestan Province, and they will do their artworks in the nature or at the gallery.
The 4th Homar festival will be followed by six light Art Performances events. The events of light Art; yearly; concurrent with Chahar-Shanbe-Souri ritual at the end of winter and before the Nowruz ancient Eve, have held in the form of performance art and light art in the nature and exhibition since 2014.
According to whatever that is came into acient history, in Chahar-Shanbe-Souri ritual with appearing twilight, in the all places of city and village, Iranians were lighting fire torches everywhere, they were keeping the fire until the sunrise from the seven days before Nowruz to two weeks after Nowruz. This fire, was the symbol of love, light and friendliness. The purpose of fire makers was bringing back the increasing force and it was good for people to overcome their sadness and depression.
The history of Homar festivals and light art performance events:
The Arta contemporary art institute began its activity from 2014. The purpose of this institute is creating an international center, with the researching- artistic approach and creating communication bridge among the artists and the artistic places inside and outside the country, to improve the contemporary arts. Regarding to this matter, the Arta institute has taken six events of ''light art performance'' so far, with artists participations from Iran, Sweden, Italy, India, New Zealand, the U.S, France, Peru, Argentina, China, Serbia and Singapore, that is taking with presenting artworks in the form of exhibition of photo, video and artistic meeting, in Iran and the exhibition of photo in Ohio university in the U.S. The Arta institute is the founder and representative of holding Homar festivals series and attention to the nature is the main purpose in this festival. Up to now, three festivals in the name of ''Homar'' is held and this institute attempts to communicate among contemporary artists around the world, the culture of collective working, also replaces philanthropy and morality instead of rivalry and antecedent.
جشنواره بین المللی هُمار با رویکرد پرفورمنس در طبیعت
معرفی
موسسه هنرهای معاصر آرتا در نظر دارد برای چهارمین بار جشنواره هُمار را در آبان ماه سال 1399، در سطح بینالمللی، به مدت 4 روز بصورت نمایشگاه برگزار نمایند. این جشنواره در حیطه هنرهای معاصر، به شکل عکس و ویدئو در گالری خواهد بود.
موسسه آرتا با دعوت از بیست هنرمند بینالمللی فعال در حیطه پرفورمنسآرت و هنرمحیطی؛ قرار بر این داشت تا جشنواره هُمار را در طبیعت لرستان برگزار کند و نمایشگاهی به عنوان برنامه جنبی برای این جشنواره برنامه ریزی شده بود؛ با شروع بیماری کوید 19 برنامه پرفورمنس حضوری حذف شد و برنامه نمایشگاه بطور جدی و با حضور هنرمندان بیشتری پیگیری خواهد شد.
چشم انداز
جلب توجه بیش از پیش هنرمندان به طبیعت، به عنوان بستری مناسب برای اجراهای هنری، بهره مندی از موهبتهای الهی موجود در طبیعت، بهره گیری از هنر به عنوان ابزاری برای ایجاد همدلی بین مردمانی با فرهنگهای متفاوت، کمک به توسعه فرهنگ و هنر، ایجاد زمینه ای مناسب برای تولید کارهای خلاقانه و کمک به ارتقاء هنر و خلاقیت مخاطبان با استفاده از مهارت و تجارب خاص هنرمندان حاضر در نمایشگاه می باشد.
ثبت و ارائه آثار خلق شده در سطح بین المللی و ایجاد بایگانی غنی از هنر اجرا با نور و اجرا در طبیعت، برای پژوهشگران و علاقهمندان به تاریخ هنر در سطح بین المللی و همچنین؛ تلاش برای جلب توجه مردم و هنرمندان به اهمیت حفظ و بهبود محیط زیست برای نسل های حاضر و آینده و معرفی استان لرستان و شهر خرم آباد به عنوان کانونی برای خلق هنر در طبیعت، و اجرا با نور، در سطح بین المللی از دیگر چشم اندازهای این نمایشگاه است.
بیانیه جشنواره
چهارمین جشنواره هُمار، با رویکرد اجرا با نور، برای هنرمندانی که طبیعت را به عنوان بستری برای ارائه آثارشان انتخاب میکنند؛ و هنرمندانی که از نور به عنوان ابزار اصلی در اجراهایشان بهره میگیرند درنظر گرفته شده است؛ هنرمندانی که برای به نمایش گذاشتن دغدغه هایشان از «درک درونی» و «نور» استفاده میبرند.
واژه ها و اصطلاحات
هُمار در زبان مردم لرستان به معنای" دشت" میباشد. دلیل انتخاب این نام برای جشنواره، انتخاب طبیعت به عنوان مکان اصلی برای اجرایهای هنرمندان است.
اجرا با نور هنری است که در آن اصلی ترین وسیله ی مورد استفاده هنرمند برای ارائه اثرش، نور میباشد. در این رشته هنرمندان کارهای خود را به صورت چیدمان، پرفورمنس، پرفورمنس آرت، ویدئو، ویدئوآرت، نقاشی، گرافیتی و ... در خارج و یا داخل گالری ارائه میدهد. هنرمندانی که نور را به عنوان مدیوم اصلی کارشان انتخاب میکنند، غالبا از لامپ های معمولی، فلش لایت ها، مهتابی، پروژکتورها، لامپ های ال ایی دی، تریدی پروژکشن ها، مولتی مدیا و .. برای ارائه کارهای خود استفاده میکنند و البته استفاده از آتش یا زغال گداخته در آثار هنرمندان محیطی و هنرمندان حیطه پرفورمنس آرت بیشتر دیده میشود؛ نور قطعا باید به عنوان وسیله اصلی برای بیان ارائه شود. .
پرفورمنس آرت، در این حیطه احساس و ادراک هنرمند و واسطه ای از وجود و حضور او، مدیوم اصلی محسوب میشود؛ مکان و زمان و هرآنچه اتفاق میافتد واقعی و تکرار ناپذیر هستند. ارتباط مستقیم با مخاطب و تعامل با او در پرفورمنس آرت بسیار مهم است؛ ولی گاه هنرمند اجرای خود را در مکانی خاص و بدون حضور مخاطب، ارائه میدهد و عکس و ویدئو آن را به عنوان مستندات اجرا عرضه میکند.
مدیوم: ابزار کار، رسانه و واسطه .از آنجا که نور جسم نیست از کلمه مدیوم به جای ابزار کار برای آن استفاده میشود.
بیان مسئله
موسسه هنرهای معاصر آرتا میکوشد تا با برقراری ارتباط بین هنرمندان معاصر سراسر دنیا، فرهنگ کار جمعی، انسان دوستی و اخلاقمداری را گسترش دهد.
در چهارمین جشنواره هُمار؛ با الهام از مراسم باستانی چهارشنبه سوری؛ از هنرمندان حیطه پرفورمنسآرت و لایتآرت برای حضور در جشنواره و نمایشگاه دعوت میشود تا آثاری با مدیوم نور ارائه دهند .برای شرکت در نمایشگاه این رویداد، هنرمندان آثار خود را در هر مکان که تمایل دارند؛ در حیطه لایتآرت؛ اجرا کرده و به شکل عکس یا ویدئو آن را ارسال میکنند.
برای هنرمندان حاضر در جشنواره؛ چند مکان خاص در استان انتخاب کرده و بصورت اجرا در طبیعت و گالری، اجراهای هنری خود را به شکل حضوری ارائه میدهند.
چهارمین جشنواره هُمار به دنبال شش برنامه اجرا با نور برگزار خواهد شد. ایونتهای اجرا با نور؛ به صورت سالانه؛ همزمان با آیین چهارشنبه سوری در پایان زمستان و قبل از عید باستانی نوروز به شکل اجرا در طبیعت و نمایشگاه، از سال 1392 برگزار میشدهاند.
طبق آنچه که در تاریخ باستان آمده، در آیین چهارشنبه سوری با پدید آمدن تاریکی شامگاه، در تمامی جاهای شهر و ده، ایرانیان آتش میافروختند؛ آنها از هفت روز پیش از نوروز تا دو هفته پس از نوروز، آتش را تا برآمدن خورشید روشن نگاه میداشتند. این آتش، نماد و نشانه نیروی مهر و نور و دوستی بود. هدف آتشافروزان برگرداندن نیروی فزاینده و نیک به مردمان، برای چیره شدن بر غم و افسردگی بود.
پیشینه هنری جشنوارههای هُمار و اجرا با نور:
موسسه هنرهای معاصر آرتا از زمستان سال1392، فعالیت خود را آغاز نمود .هدف این موسسه ایجاد مرکزی بینالمللی، با رویکرد پژوهشی_هنری و ایجاد پل ارتباطی بین هنرمندان و مراکز هنری داخل و خارج از کشور، در جهت ارتقاء هنر معاصر است .در همین راستا، موسسه آرتا تاکنون به برگزاری شش ایونت "اجرا با نور" ، با شرکت هنرمندانی از ایران، سوئد، ایتالیا، هند، نیوزلند، آمریکا، فرانسه، پرو، آرژانتین، چین، صربستان و سنگاپور، به همراه ارائه آثار به صورت نمایشگاه عکس، ویدئو و نشست هنری در ایران و نمایشگاه عکس در دانشگاه اوهایو امریکا اقدام کرده است. موسسه آرتا بنیان گذار و مجری سری جشنوارههای" هُمار" است که توجه به طبیعت از اهداف اصلی این جشنواره میباشد. تا به امروز سه جشنواره با نام هُمار برپا شده است و این موسسه میکوشد تا با برقراری ارتباط بین هنرمندان معاصر سراسر دنیا، فرهنگ کار جمعی، انسان دوستی و اخلاق مداری را جایگزین رقابت و برتری جویی کند.
