“Destroying is always easier than building up. The devastating nature of war is one of the most primitive ways of communication with a ‘one-way road’ direction. Even we know how bad it is, it is happening all over the world. Talking about it will not change the course, but action.”

“it ain’t over until it’s over” is a cycle of visual performance art works. Besides the usage and meaning of colors this cycle examines the thought that an outcome cannot be assumed or determined until a given situation, event, etc., is completely finished.”

“BBB Johannes Deimling (born 1st June 1969 in Andernach, Germany; 2016 married to Polish photographer Monika Deimling) is an internationally renowned artist and pedagogue. Deimling's visual, poetic performative works are particularly important. He has created the term "enacted images (agierte Bilder)" that describes his approach to performance art.
BBB Johannes Deimling has invested much of his artistic research into the teaching and learning of performance art processes. His interest lies in the pedagogics, didactics and the social aspect of performance art.”

My performance images are initially created purely visual but gradually access to all the senses to form a holistic view on the banalities of everyday life with all its challenges and changes. Based on my daily observations of the world, these ephemeral images can be seen as condensed moments and metaphorical triggers. “It is not about what you see, but more about what you don’t see.”. Within the social space performance art is offering, these images are generating nonverbal, visual dialogues where images replace words, creating an artistic atmosphere and leave plenty of space for individual interpretation and access. And right here, the actual images appear, the center focus of my artistic research: the non-visible images each audience member creates in their minds while seeing and discovering the performance. The moment ‘now’ is here at its peak: perception is triggered, activated and responding.
