Light & Knowledge The Light makes the truth in the world see as the original. Now, the better light has been found and used. The knowledge to know the truth has been searched for decade. Now, we have got to learn the whole world by the light to see the truth and the light of the knowledge.
I was born 1967 in Yangon and currently lives and works in Yangon. I joined New Zero Art Space in 2015 to study painting and started as a painter. In 2016, I joined the Performance Art Workshop by Artist Aye Ko organized at the New Zero Art Space and I interest in performance art started. Continuously, I participated in the conceptual based art work creating workshop and later I began creating the performance photography. In 2017, I joined the performance art workshop by artist Mr. Sheiji Shimoda (Founder of NIPAF) from Japan and had participated at the '20th NIPAF Asia Performance art Series,' in Japan as well. As an emerging artist,I am strongly interested to express of my emotions upon the lives of women, I own connection within the society and family related thems at one hand.
I use my own body inspiring and create my art works as a woman in women in our society, who is living and surviving in the society with the less respect to the women. My responds to the actions came to me as the family problems, blaming and disrespected eyes from the men and the whispering gossips from the women in my surrounding became my pieces of arts. I inspire my sense of art as a mother, growing her child in the mess of family problem with no strength to fight back to all those nearest enemies-in-home but keep growing her child to be better than her and her enemies. I as a woman in the women, I as a woman for the women, I use my own body to inspire and create my art.
