The work is called birth, whereas in the work I stand in a garden (orchard) in the city of Babylon. I always like to be under the shade of palms and in the side of its trees. There is a creative energy in the nature that restores the activity of the soul and sends tranquility to those who feel that it is energy, I do not feel that feeling, while I am in the city always the needs of modern life displace to the flattening of thought and feeling. The orchards in my city are shaped flat, as the geographical presence of the city within the sedimentary plain allows it to do so.

Muhammad Abd ALwasi Hussein, born in Babylon 1986, has a master's degree in plastic arts from the University of Babylon. I started drawing since my childhood, but this desire to learn and practice the hobby of drawing prevented by hunger and the difficult days that accompanied my childhood, where I left it and then entered college and perhaps achieved something from my childhood dream. After the violence in Iraq, which was formed after the fall of the dictatorial regime, I realized at the time that arts such as painting do not carry or stand in the face of violence, so I chose to perform as a direct energy to express and protest about the violence in which we live and for my first and last dream to be for my country to live in peace.
