Nooshin Naficy

(b.1959, Isfahan, Iran) in a large and cultured family. In 1986, she set out for Tehran to educate herself in the theoretical and practical principles of painting. She was the founder of Baran Art Institute   in 1991, where she taught art to children and young adults for twenty years. Nooshin still teach art in her institute. She is also a member and instructor at the Painters’ Association of Isfahan. Since 2003, she has been working with the Rangin kaman Institute for the Elderly as painting instructor and the Head of the Art Department. From 2004 till now. Nooshin has been participated in several Environmental Art workshops and festivals in different parts of Iran and other places. Her videos have been screened in different venues in Iran, South Korea, Romania, Hungary, England, Germany, USA (California), UK and the Pori Museum in Finland. She also has exhibited her works in 17 solo exhibitions in Iran and other countries.

Statment
When I am in nature, everything from the pouring of the rain to the blowing of the wind, the aroma of wild flowers, the shining of the sun, the sound of crickets, and the wondrous shapes of seashells remind me that I, as a human, am only part of the great cycle of nature and life.
Working in nature connects me to our primitive ancestors, to the history of man, to a time when humans were one with nature; and this makes me feel calm, safe, and balanced.
Creating art in nature, I am sometimes inspired to leave something that I have worked on for hours out there and let nature reclaim it as part of itself. In fact, the work of art, like a fleeting moment in the transient nature, appears and then disappears again.
Moreover, working in nature requires some isolation, immersion, deep listening, observing, and finally something of a meditation; a state of being that allows us to tune ourselves in once again with life as a whole.

نوشین نفیسی (متولد1959، اصفهان، ایران) در یک خانواده بزرگ فرهنگی متولد شد. در سال 1986 برای آموختن مبانی عملی و نظری نقاشی راهی تهران شد. او در سال 1991 آموزشگاه باران (کارگاه باران) را تاسیس کرد و 20 سال دراین آموزشگاه به آموزش هنر به کودکان و نوجوانان پرداخت. و در حال حاضر در این آموزشگاه به تدریس نقاشی برای سنین مختلف مشغول است. او هم علاوه برعضویت، مدرس انجمن هنرمندان نقاش اصفهان است. از سال 2003 مربی نقاشی ومسئول بخش هنرموسسه رنگین کمان سپید است. این موسسه فرهنگی - آموزشی با سالمندان کار می‏کند.
نوشین هم چنین در مناطق مختلف در ورک شاپ‏ها و جشنواره‏های هنر محیطی بسیاری شرکت کرده است و موفق شده ویدئوهای خویش را در مراکز مختلف چون ایران، کره جنوبی، کالیفرنیا، انگلستان، رومانی، مجارستان، آلمان و موزه پوری در فنلاند به نمایش بگذارد.   
 او تاکنون 17 نمایشگاه انفرادی (نقاشی، چیدمان، ویدئو و پرفورمنس) در ایران (تهران و اصفهان)، آمریکا (لس آنجلس) و آلمان (هایدلبرگ) برگزار کرده است. ودر بیش از65 نمایشگاه گروهی در کشورهای مختلف شرکت کرده است.

بیانیه
وقتی در طبیعت بسر می برم، بارش باران، وزیدن باد، بوی گل‏های وحشی، تابش آفتاب، صدای جیرجیرک‏ها و اشکال شگفت‏انگیز صدف‏ها به من یاد آوری می‏کند که من– انسان فقط جزئی از چرخه عظیم طبیعت و هستی هستم.
کار کردن در طبیعت مرا به انسان‏های بدوی، به تاریخ بشر، به زمانی که انسان با طبیعت یگانه بود، مرتبط می‏سازد و به من آرامش، امنیت و تعادل می‏بخشد.
آفرینش در طبیعت باعث می‏شود که گاه اثری را که ساعت‏ها روی آن کار کرده‏ام به طبیعت واگذارم و اجازه دهم تا دوباره جزئی از آن گردد. در واقع اثر هنری چون لحظه ‏ای از طبیعت گذرا، پدیدار و سپس محو می‏گردد.
علاوه بر این فعالیت در طبیعت نیازمند: خلوت کردن، دل سپردن، گوش کردن و مشاهده کردن و نهایتاٌ یک رفتار مراقبه گون است، وضعیتی که به ما اجازه می‏دهد تا آواهای مشترک خویش را با هستی باز سازی نمائیم.
