Light is becoming more essential with today’s modern development. In the process of development, modern equipment’s are being used excessively in human life. On behalf of development, many diseases and problems are emerging in new forms COVID pandemic is being seen as new problem and we are trying to take precautions and safety. I/we have faith and are tangled with a ray of light of hope to get rid of this pandemic very soon.
I have use rays of light as modern equipment in my performance. i am connected with light the fact is if there is no light then there will be no life. I have played at night in darkness with the artificial light (tried to get out of the darkness, overcome the problem), that light is related with my life and without this light life would be in the darkness.

Prithvi Shrestha is a visual artist based in Kathmandu. He has shown five solo shows. He has received several awards for his outstanding performance in art career.
He has participated in several exhibitions, workshop, artist residency in homeland and abroad and participated in artist residency of Coaxing the nature 2003 and Uttistha 2005 organized by Sutra art center, residencies in Britto art trust 2012. He has participated in the 13th and 15th Asian art biennale at Bangladesh. He has participant in the 17th NIPAF Asia Performance Art Series 2014 Japan, NIPPON International Performance art Festival 2017 Japan, Kathmandu Triennial 2017, International Performance Arts Festival 2017 Kunming, China, Himalayan Art Festival 2018, Thailand Nepal Art Exhibition 2018 Andaman Art Museum ,Krabi ,Thailand and 4th Kunming Art Biennale, Yunnan Art Museum, Kunming ,China and 10th anniversary of PAN Asia Seoul ,Korea .
He is a Founder of Bindu space for artists.
I have been influence by my native ritual and social cultural in practicing painting, performance art and installation art to share my thoughts and ideas. I believe we all live in natural life and culture but following dark to bright life as shaded life in the name of modern development.
Every single symbols are very important for me to create and support life and those symbols are incomplete without us. That’s why I have been using symbols to express to connect each other. I am impressed with sound of this advance urban life. Everywhere sound express vital role in our life so I use different types sounds in my performance art too. Where else creating installation art common objects become a part.
I found art everywhere so I tried to connect natural art in my creation.
